Manager-In-Training
Are you ready to step into shop leadership with hands-on guidance from day one? The Manager-In-Training program begins with a focused, two-week paid training experience where you’ll learn the fundamentals of running a modern, technology-enabled auto repair shop. You’ll cover customer service, workflow management, sales processes, team leadership, and daily operational systems.
If you successfully complete training, you’ll be placed at one of our existing Stress-Free locations as a Manager in Training, where you’ll continue developing under experienced leaders. With consistent performance and strong leadership ability, MIT graduates can grow into General Manager roles, leading their own $1–3M shop and driving real impact.

Fast Track Leadership Program
Are you an experienced leader from retail, hospitality, food service, or another fast-paced customer-facing industry? The FastTrack Leadership Program is built for high-initiative young professionals who already know how to manage people, drive performance, and deliver great service. Like the MIT track, you’ll begin with a two-week paid training program where you’ll learn the core systems, workflows, customer experience standards, and leadership expectations of running a Stress-Free shop.
Upon successful completion, you’ll be placed as a Manager in Training, but on an accelerated path. FastTrack candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and operational excellence can progress into a General Manager role within 6 months, leading one of our $1–3M auto repair shops.

Manager in Training

You’ll learn how to run a modern, tech-forward auto repair shop — from leadership and scheduling to workflow, sales, and customer experience. With strong performance, you’ll graduate into an Assistant General Manager role.
Finish Year 1 and you’ll be eligible for $25,000 in student loan forgiveness, plus 401(k) + 4% company match after your first six months.

You’ll take full ownership of store operations from sales generation to P&L management. You’ll lead technicians and advisors, manage performance, oversee scheduling, and drive customer satisfaction — all while being eligible for monthly performance bonuses.
Top-performing General Managers at Stress-Free can earn $150,000+ annually.
Complete Year 2 and you’ll unlock an additional $25,000 in student loan forgiveness.

With strong performance, you’ll be promoted to leading two shops. You’ll coach Assistant GMs, mentor new Managers in Training, and help develop future leaders while driving results across multiple locations.

You’ll oversee several shops, including new locations. You’ll operate like an entrepreneur — leading growth, expanding teams, improving operations, and driving multi-million-dollar results across the region.

You’ll lead a district of 6+ shops, manage General Managers, shape regional performance, and partner directly with the Head of Operations. District Managers at Stress-Free have unlimited earning potential, with top performers making $300k+.
FastTrack Manager Training

With strong performance, you’ll be promoted quickly into a General Manager role — taking full ownership of store operations, P&L, hiring, coaching, sales, and team leadership.

MONTHS 1-6
MONTHS 6-18

You’ll join a selective 2-week training program designed to accelerate experienced managers into automotive leadership. Once placed in-store, you’ll ramp as an Assistant General Manager — learning workflow operations, sales leadership, team management, scheduling, and customer experience inside a modern, tech-forward auto repair shop.
You’ll also be eligible for 401(k) + 4% match after six months.

You’ll lead multiple shops (generally 2–3), mentor GMs and AGMs, drive performance across locations, and help build the next generation of shop leaders.
YEAR 3
YEAR 4

You’ll oversee a growing portfolio of shops — including new store launches — and operate like a regional entrepreneur inside the Stress-Free ecosystem. You’ll have significant influence on staffing, performance, customer experience, and operational strategy.
YEAR 5

You’ll lead a district of 6+ shops, guiding GMs, supporting performance, and shaping regional operations. You’ll work directly with the Head of Operations, making strategic decisions and driving multi-million-dollar results.

Ten years into your Stress-Free career, you’ll become eligible for up to $100,000 in college tuition support for your child — up to $25,000 per year for 4 years.
